week 16-special edition blog

For the end of the class we were required to make a trip to a local gallery, so I went to the Beverly Art Center.  Alot of the work there was very interesting and cool to know that it is local.  I took pictures of three works of art that inspired me in different ways, and here they are:

I like this one because of the simple yet 3-D style.  It inspires me to want to learn more ways of art.

This one is very interesting.  It somewhat looked like an old photograph.  The texture was also very cool and inspired me to want to learn more about paint and the effects it can create.

I also really like this.  The simplicity is what makes it intriguing.  It inspires me not to look so deep into my artwork and that it doesn't always have to be extremely perfect and detailed, but sometimes the imperfection is what makes it so artistic.

These are pictures that I took at the Art Museum in Chicago.  I took a few pictures, and chose these three because of the extreme detail in each work of art, which makes them intrigueing.

And this is a picture of me pouting in the rain in front of the museum to prove to Nathan that I actually went :)

week 13

For my magazine cover, I chose to use pink because I like that color.  I could not think of a creative title, so I went with "Computer Graphics: Art Using Technology."  I chose some of the pictures I like the most to use on the cover, and then I wrote about which category of the magazine the images were a part of and on what pages that category could be found.
